she used to write
things that were called "poems"
hippie towns, preppy kids, crappy lives
wonderland fell yesterday
hell made people forget that there were still lives

                                                 waiting ahead

and one day spring arrived
she realized
all left was
    			b    l    a    n    k   s
not even the pale anger
not even the red cries    

indifference spread like
black plague
grey fled
     eating inside

until the summer comes
