Fidelity

今天在放這首歌的時候，室友問我，「這是甚麼歌，聽起來那麼輕快，卻一直唱it breaks my heart?」

其實我比較喜歡Regina Spektor比較早期、批判性或是文學性的歌/詞，而新專輯裡這首比較pop，在她的音樂之中，並不是我最喜歡的歌，偏偏最近碰到比較讓人有感觸的時候，會想起這首歌的旋律。

While I was playing this song this afternoon, my roommate asked me whose song it is. “How come it sounds really happy but she kept singing ‘it breaks my heart’? ”

I like Regina Spektor’s more political/critical or literary songs/lyrics. Among her music, this song isn’t my favorite. This one is more pop. (you know) Strangely, the song kept stucking in my head lately while I encounter some cliché or cheesy moments.
