time flies

It’s the last week of my internship. Two and half months ago, I had no idea how i was going to survive in a city that I didn’t speak the languages. Now, 2.5 months is just way to short. It was often that I started to get to know people and places towards the end of my trips. what a pity.

I like Barcelona not because they have Gaudi, Picasso, or other spectacular things they wrote on the travel guides. It’s the streets, small things, the vibrant cultures, the CD stores, the small galleries, experimental theaters. Though my Spanish is still very poor, Barcelona makes me want to continue studying it when I am back to the States.

Hemingway once said that Paris is a moveable feast. For me, so is Barcelona. I wouldn’t say it’s a dramatic life changing experience, but i would say that something inside me definitely different now.
