rumbling

It was during one of my class in high school. I couldn´t remember it´s biology, english or gym. The teacher gave us an “exercise” for group dynamics. We suppose to write something “positive” or “constructive” about 5 people in the class. You know what I got the most ? “You are nice.”

fuck that. why not just told me that i was really boring. why not just told me you didn´t give a shit about my pathetic little life. Who would care about immigrant kids who were trying to survive in a suburban middle class neighborhood ? oh right, they are competing with our college entrace and jobs too.

i don´t hate to be call nice. It depends on the context. But something the word just has been abuse so much, that it doesn´t tell us the difference anymore. we use the word “nice” because we want to be polite.

Maybe all these crap are coming from my subconcious anger or just my pre-graduating anxiety. Please stop reading if all you see is negative energy here.

Two weekds ago, i came across Karen´s post. and then I went to watch Crash

we are all hypocrites.

yes, truth hurts. of course, who doesn´t want to be perfect and cheerful all the time. but i rather someone tell me that i suck if i really do. because i would have work on that to become better. a lot of time we even knew it before people tell us. we magically hope things will go away. our problems and weakness will go away. well, the truth is. no they don´t. unless you do something about it.

don´t just sit there and waiting the world to happen to you.

ugh, just stick another six feet under quote

Maggie : I know that if you think life’s a vending machine where you put in virtue and take out happiness than you’re going to be disappointed.

The truth is that there is no need for a nice man to be perfect and cheerful all the time. 曾国藩 even hopes he has some defects, so he name his study 求阙斋.
