在出發之前，我曾經試著去留意自己對於這次出門的情緒和態度。

也許是因為這次實習的機構並不需要我會講西班牙語，也許是因為那些語言恐懼已經在剛到美國的時候磨練了一次，我很明白我以前學的西班牙文全部還給老師，但是這次我不太緊張。迷路的時候身上只需要一點錢 、水、電話號碼和地圖。只要出外平安健康，一切都好。

到歐洲，就是怕扒手或是被搶，有時候，這是再老鳥的人也防不了的。今天早上出去探路的時候，很快的察覺到自己想要融入的念頭。這似乎是每一次轉換環境時候，我最直覺的反應。

當到美國的時候，一開口的破英文馬上表露無疑自己外來者的身份，等到我英文好一點的時候，十二萬分的self-conciousness並沒有退去。第一次走進高中cafeteria經驗令人難忘，好像回到小圈圈時代，在場一個靈魂都不認識，那還真的是不如跑到乾淨的廁所裡吃飯都還比較自在。初進紐約市，學著跟紐約客一樣快步疾走，面無表情的搭地鐵。如果真的迷路了，也裝作沒事的走到下一個路口看路牌名，然後走到人少的地方把地圖拿出來看。fit in並不是要隨波逐流。只是想要在最快的速度下產生保護色，在爾虞我詐的花花世界裡，安生立命。只是有時候我不禁會懷疑我有時候是否太專注於隱身人群，而忽略了路上的風景。

still cannot get my mac with wifi signal in my flat. so no Chinese for this entry. My colleagues have been very nice to me, the fact that i can´t speak/understand Spanish still make me feel like dumb American, but I am getting used to that.

 I´ve been listening to those learning Spanish audiobook. Hope that might help. Muriel is sugguesting me to take some short term spanish class. That sounds like a good idea. but right now, my jetlag is giving me headache. I went to sleep after work and woke up at 5am. According Josep, it should take 6 days because you need one day for one hour of timezone. sigh.

I guess the fact that i am living with older flatmates who aren´t student make me feel like completely alone in Barcelona. Other than my co-workers, I know no one. No sure that´s a good thing exactly. Maybe i really need to take some classes to know more people.

I made it.

在法國轉機。到了巴塞隆納以後，自己一個人從機場坐接駁公車轉地鐵，平安無事的抵達分租的公寓。慶幸在轉車的過程，以及在地鐵裡把行李搬上搬下的時候。所到之處，並沒有人擠人讓我要額外擔心扒手。

房東是從剛從阿根廷搬來得的年輕夫婦。先生叫做Fedorico，太太叫做Carolina。本來是希望找到的公寓是對當地比較熟的房東。結果他們的公寓離我要工作的地方最近。我到達公寓的那天，Carolina正好出差到西班牙南部。她在我出發前就告訴我，她先生的英文程度就和我的西班牙文程度差不多。不過我沒有很擔心，因為我的西班牙文程度完全退化到不到一年的程度。事實證明他的英文比我的西班牙文還好。我們比手話腳都能溝通。讓我比較洩氣的是，太多西班牙單字我都忘了，想要講的時候，咿咿啊啊講不出來，最後還是得講英文，害我覺得自己太像笨美國人。

剛剛到電器行買了螺絲起子，把上飛機前買的RAM裝起來。老闆很聰明的直接拿計算機打出價錢。

弟弟是老么。從小被長輩們寵著長大。還小的時候都還好，越大就越固執，也越難溝通。來美以後，他開始上小學，常常對於爸媽而外指定的作業抗拒。

對話通常是這樣開始
弟: 「我已經寫完功課了，為甚麼一定要背這些單字。老師又沒有規定」
媽: 「你如果英文比人家好你就不用背呀」

這不單只是用於功課，接人待物也一樣
弟: 「我已為甚麼一定要對OOOO nice。他自己先對我不好的」
弟: 「為甚麼你都只罵我，OOOO也有錯呀」
媽: 「OOOO 比你小呀，要讓他」

然後，如果是我或是我妹，通常被訓了一兩句以後就乖乖閉嘴。但是如果是我弟。後面又會是 ∞ 的爭執，搞得氣氛 ∞ 糟糕。

大部份被罵的內容我都忘記了。

我只記得爸至今仍一直不斷告誡弟的三句話:

不怕麻煩」

今天自己的對小事狀況的誤判，提醒我自己的天真和不夠負責。戒之。

另，今日老弟已經成長很多，已經開始上高中的他，比較懂事了。

(後記，要寫那三句quote的時候，我一直喃喃自語想不起來第一句是甚麼。結果最後還是打了電話問老爸。他居然也很配合得跟我亂扯一通。講了第四五次才講對，我現在想起來才覺得好笑。）
